Dear all,

When I first started listening to electronic music, it was the hard stuff I was really into. Bands like Hocico, Suicide Commando, etc. came in the picture pretty early. I had listened to metal music all my life, so the screaming distorted vocals were quite familiar to me.

However, after not too long this genre (a.k.a Harsh EBM, Terror EBM or Aggrotech) became really dull to listen to, as each song — no matter which artist — sounded like I had heard it three million times before. I was recently checking out different bands in MySpace to buy new music for my next DJ set and popped into X-Fusion’s MySpace page. I was delighted to hear something different being done in this particular niche genre, and bought the “Vast Abysm” right away.

I’m listening to X-Fusion’s Vast Abysm right now and am really liking it, so be alert at the next Torture Torstai (26th February 2009) — you will hear X-Fusion there. Also, right after Torture Torstai, on Friday 27th February 2009 X-Fusion’s other project, Noisuf-X (what a delightfully thoughtful nameplay ) will play a gig on Synapsi club at the heart of Helsinki!
